Dealing with In-Ear Monitors?

Ok I realise I'm going against the grain, which isn't an easy thing to do, but lets get this straight - There's nothing wrong or wierd about my ears!
No need to get defensive with me. "Wrong" or "weird" was NOT the direction I was going here. We're all human, we're all different, some things simply work better for some vs others, nothing wrong or weird about it. I'm just wanting to understand your "test case" here. That's all.

For the record, I don't own any of these plugs (yet), and I'm also looking into maybe getting some UE Pro 5's, so I'm not trying to defend anything at all. Just asking.

Some people have trouble with earphones, earplugs etc, but I've never had these problems before.
Thanks. This is all I was originally looking for. :)

Vic I apologise. I didn't mean to come across as defensive. I felt I needed to nip this one in the bud because it's the easy out.

I mean, testing earphones before buying them, particularly the in-ear type, isn't easy and orders on near impossible. And they're not cheap so it can be a tough decision. There's a distinct possibility that there is a genuine, and inexpensive, option for us bass players in the for of those Sennheiser earphones and I'm tracking my progress here in the hope I can help others with their IEM decision making.

No sweat. I just wanted to make sure you knew I wasn't meaning to give you a hard time, so we're all good here. :)

Darn right!!!

This is exactly my sitch. I have the (crappy) 2's that came with my PSM200 and want to replace them. The Sennheiser's you like are among the less expensive ones I'm considering. A buddy just got a set of those with his new Sansa MP3 player, so I can check those out, but not in my usual application (gig), but at least it's better than nothing.
