Yep haha its a huge problem. The Razorback drains battery so fast it's not even funny. Im still looking hard for a new battery jack but tbh Im probably gonna be playing the Paramount way more once it arrives.

@Sub-Frequency has a Paramount and loves it. I haven’t seen him here in a while so I assume he still has it.Yep haha its a huge problem. The Razorback drains battery so fast it's not even funny. Well, I only have the 8 string version and tune all 8 strings.B-Mac,
Thanks for the video! The Rhapsody 12 sounds great, Davie does a great job with whatever he picks up.
How is the tuning process on the 12? I would imagine it's straight forward, except for taking a little longer. It looks like tuning it would be a pita. I just want to have an idea what I'm in for in getting one. I usually use a Peterson strobe clip tuner. I like the brass nut a lot, you don't see many of them.

So I’m guessing you gotta do the same for all 12 strings on the 12-ver!
They're pretty expensive.

Brad, since you know a lot of these guys that used to work at Dean, who else is on their own or with some other company making basses?Firstly, they are hand made basses of the highest quality. Jon really knows what he is doing.
Secondly, when Jon gets a bass completed that hasnt been sold, he pops them on Reverb, and the prices are usually quite agreeable. Keep your eyes open there...
Rock on gents!

As some of you know, this weekend is the DOA event at Dean HQ in Tampa. Any of you going? I will be there. We will be playing two shows during the festivities. Plus lots of great partying. Fun times.
Here is an old photo of my Dean bass collection. I only still have two of these basses. But I have plenty more that Ive gotten since this was taken. Ah, memories of instruments past.

@NicJimBass is one of the experts on EMG pups.Hello all. I know that I asked this question awhile back, then let it die, but I have a Dean Edge 09. One of my favorite basses. The sound of it is mediocre (it's like Dean's cheapest or second cheapest if you consider the playmate kit bass.). It needs a new pickup. I wasn't exactly sure what would fit. Another Dean owner around here , Rolo, used the EMG-HZ 40, and said it sounded good. Will this fit? I know it fit his, but I was just wondering. Here is his thread Dean Edge 09 Bass Upgrade
