Dean John Entwistle bass

Good grief. A company who never made basses for him trying to make money off his name. Ok, not a fan of that swort of thing. Anyway Id geauss dean would try to make a explorer type kinda based on the alembic version John played? Unless theyre gonna see if gibson grumps at them for doing a thunderbird type. Whatever, it wont be anything anyone could reasonably say is any kind of sig model since John didnt play any Dean basses. Lol.

Hope its not another Buzzard Bird

More like this- needs chrome pickup covers

Am I the only one who sees this as a joke? No, I don't mean as in it isn't true, but a Dean? Please, as one of the major tone monsters, the Ox NEVER would have played something like this and my guess is that he would have beat someone silly with one of his 12 pound Alembics for even mentioning it.

VERY interested to see what this is gonna be. I'm half expecting to be horribly disappointed but I will remain hopeful. I can think of three or four possibilities for what this could be. Obviously fenderbird, explorer type or some lawsuit-proof variation on the buzzard. A longhorn is also a possibility. Hmmmm.....

John was always my main guy.

i picked one up and put it down just as fast for that reason.

bad frets suck. but these were terrible UNPLAYABLY sharp frets

Yeah, I guess by saying playing in my original post it sounded like they were ok or deal-with-able. I wasn't doing any slides or anything, in fact I just tried a walking bass line and it was still insane. I really wanted to like it to.

Also, I keep thinking this thread says Dear John Entwhistle Bass.

Dean make a Dimebag bass. They must be real shysters!

:hiding:

i cant decide if they are raping the memory of dime or celebrating him in every way possible. surely there was a bassist out there that wanted a razorback bass. then again.. the same story could be flipped to say they are milking it for all its worth.

either way, vinnie paul is to blame. they are bad, but vinnie is letting them.
