Lots of pedal people on TB even go so far as covering them up with tape.
That's crazy.
Thanks for the tip!if the light is overbearing i open the pedal and pull the LED just below it's hole.
Tech 21 uses brighter LED's nowI've had a couple of special "tone moments" using my VT Deluxe on early evening outdoor gigs the past few weeks because I couldn't tell which bank or setting was on.
Let's just say the band wasn't crazy about my super gritty Foot Stompin' Music patch in the intro of Reelin In the Years.
I'll take the LEDs thank you very much.
I have one of those old 80s Boss chorus pedals. Can't tell whether it's on or not outdoors. Sometimes it's even a challenge inside to tell. Maybe I should get a newer chorus pedal?
Sez you. There is a whole thread on nuclear led complaints and fixes. That's crazy.
Hmmm. If you can't tell if it's on or off without a light why do you have the pedal?I hate bright LEDs. I just need to know if it's on or off, not light the entire room and blind me in the process.
