Andy, your knowledge and availability for repairs is a blessing. Although some may take your initial response to the OP as somewhat aggressive, if not mocking. Of course, in all likelihood, you are correct in your position regarding the work being done. I can also understand your chuckle from seeing an opposing and what you feel is, a humorous perspective on preventative repair. But I certainly can understand the OP’s perception of your laughter. You’re a brilliant guy, and I really appreciate the work you’ve done for me personally and many other members here. But maybe, go easy. Might work better for everybody in the end. …or not. Hoping my opinion isn’t too unwelcome.
