I should split my time between finishing the last details of the software, designing new sounds, and making demos with the FI. Of course, my priority must be the first, even if I would love to spend more time on the other two as well (and these are more fun than the first). The first thing what I did when it was so far a few weeks ago, I did the DI emulation sounds, because I see that this is what most people are waiting for -- and believe me, they are as perfect as it can be. I want to make a video demo of that with A/B comparison with the original. It takes a bit time to organize that, but it comes soon. I designed just a few new sounds that exploit the possibilities of the FI far beyond the DI, and when you will hear them then DI emulation will never be the first priority any more.

I have to tell you Andras that after my experience with how guitar oriented and IMHO poor, the Eventide H9s included presets are, I would love for you to spend some quality time on presets. I am the kind of person that will get totally lost in editing 80 parameters, so some SOLID starting points are beyond essential.

I am super excited about this one. Finally I'll have a dedicated synth pedal!

Well, just in that you don't have to mess with thinking/choosing how to do the split, buying the hardware for the split whether that's driving/public transit to a local shop or waiting for the delivery from the online store, wire it up on your pedalboard, test it etc...

All that stuff takes time (not to mention the time spent making the money to buy it all).

Buy a pedal that has the split already built in and mix that with anchovy DNA, you could chop out the anchovy's oil-making gene, stick the pedal in a bunch of Third-World kids and BAM! Cheap effective robot oil. Enough to put dear, old Mom out of business.
