Dude, sounds like you need to make a Gear Buying Microbrew Touring trip to the US. Both of my home states have several Microbrews within biking distance. In Boulder CO you can tour a bunch of micros, check the Craigslist used market and stop by the local gear shop in one long afternoon. Oh, plus there are mountains...even they have breweries.
Oh - and btw - we still have better beer than you.

I was trying to find a nice way to say that. This is more tactful than the stuff I was coming up with

SO... It came up in a thread about the Unibass...
Will the FI have a separate dry out from the effected out? Otherwise, if not, incorporating the Unibass algorithms will be stifled/under-utilised...
I don't know anything about the Unibass, but anyway I never understood why people need a direct (dry) out... I mean, isn't it always possible to get the dry by splitting the signal before the effect? It seems like it's the kill-dry feature (getting only the effect signal) that's really what opens up all the mixing possibilities, or am I missing something here...?
Guess I will have a late chirstmas present...! I really want one of this. Just hope it doesn´t cost much....especially to europe
The idea was that you'd have two amp rigs and run one side of the Unibass to a guitar amp and the other side to a bass amp. But you are correct in that you could easily split the signal without that feature.
And having the Unibass (or other effect such as the FI) do the splitting for you, you save time, effort, money and most of all... space.
This is incorrect, the Unibass has an effect output which outputs only the wet signal when patched. @ProfFrink is right that you could achieve the same result either way, but in the case of the Unibass it is handled internally so it is not necessary.
I can personally think of a few ways it could be beneficial to split before the Unibass, if you wanted to do so, nothing would stop you. But for the people who want to keep it simple and only require a separate wet and dry output, an internal solution like on the Unibass would be preferred to an extra piece of hardware handling the split for you, like @Feral Feline said. Saves you space and money, and time somehow!
really excited. for those worrying about daisy chaining, in case the pedal doesn't like it you could use one of the gigrig adapters to isolate it.

I should split my time between finishing the last details of the software, designing new sounds, and making demos with the FI. Of course, my priority must be the first, even if I would love to spend more time on the other two as well (and these are more fun than the first). The first thing what I did when it was so far a few weeks ago, I did the DI emulation sounds, because I see that this is what most people are waiting for -- and believe me, they are as perfect as it can be. I want to make a video demo of that with A/B comparison with the original. It takes a bit time to organize that, but it comes soon. I designed just a few new sounds that exploit the possibilities of the FI far beyond the DI, and when you will hear them then DI emulation will never be the first priority any more.
