Hey guys, I just wanted to put in a good word for Jake @ Dejarnett pickups. He is just a one man operation who makes pickups. I don't know a whole lot about pickups, but what I really liked about him was that he custom makes them. Basically he asked me what I wanted, and I gave him an outline of the sound I want, what bass I play, etc and in the end, he did a really good job on them. I am super happy with the set that he made to my specs, and they were affordable (a little more than a set of fender pups).
This isn't a paid advertisement or anything, I am just happy with my purchase and thought I'd give him a few good words on the internet
Plus he is a bass player, so props to a guy who knows what we are talking about!
