Delano SBC 4 HE/S VS Nordstrand DCs

Hi All,

I'm looking into these two pickups for my custom 4-string.

I play RNB/funk/Jazz-Funk/Fusion/Jazz so the tone I'm after is a Richard Bona/Andrew Gouche finger/slap hi-fi tone on the humbucker side of things, but I also want to have an as good as possible single-coil tone as well (not too vintage and dirty, think Jaco for solo bridge and Marcus Miller for slap/finger grooves).

Basically as per the above I will use the coil-tap loads for the series/parallel/single coil modes as I'm looking for versatility.

Obviously, I know I won't have a perfect single coil tone from DC pickups and I put more weight on the humbucker hi-fi side of things, but I want to have a really good single-coil tone as well.

Any idea whcih of those two pickups will suit my needs better?

Many Thanks,
George
