Deltalites II 2510's

I also have two DeltaLite II 2510s. Not from "Beach Audio", but I bought one used and the other open box. Both have been working great for over three years. That's a great price too! Enjoy them!
I know right?
I've put them on my 'watch list' forever ago just to watch the price fluctuations and today.... couldn't believe it. About a year ago, Sam Ash (on Amazon) lowered their last 2 delta 10's down to $134 each. And I jumped on those. But $79?

Fingers crossed.

I've bought a few drivers that way. If you get a dud you return it on Amazon's dime. No problem. I've bought a couple of EMI Kappa Pro 10A drivers for around $80.

Congrats on the score!

EDIT: I see the sale and returns are though Beach Audio and not Amazon. I read their return policy and there's no charge and no restocking fee so you (we're) probably fine. I bought one also.

Yes, there are always concerns when you buy drivers from a non-authorized reseller or dealer.

I saw a lot of old stock DeltaLite OEM drivers being sold as the DeltaLite 2510's that were not stock 2510's. There should be an EMINENCE label with the Eminence part number, it's gray and on most DeltaLites is located on the back side of a basket spoke. It's misrepresentation, since you have no way to know what the OEM variants are (changes to the performance parameters).

Thanks for the input AH. These will be for a secondary extension cab. This cab will serve 2 purposes. The secondary cab will elevate my primary cab to my ear level, and it will be pointed at the drummer so he can hear me. Then I would be able to set up and stand anywhere I want without compromising what the drummer can hear. :bassist:

I've received an email from Beach Audio about the DeltaLite II 2510 I ordered. My guess is they were a price mistake at $79 and they aren't going to honor it.

We wanted to update you on the status of your recent order:
We apologize, but the item you ordered did not ship because the item is out of stock and needs to be back ordered. Your order will be shipped as soon as we can replenish the stock of the back ordered item.
If you would rather not wait, you may request cancellation (subject to confirmation) at any time through your Amazon account

They may lock you into that price if you can wait?

I may hold out for a week or two, but frankly, I'm expecting a follow up email explaining how $79 was a price mistake, which is most likely true, and they're going to cancel the order.

Have they shipped your order?
yes, i've been tracking it. These will be my second set of them, so I should be able to tell quickly if their counterfeit (at least from a visual). I'll post pictures as soon as they're delivered.

Getting closer. Would of had this done last weekend but I bought the wrong size capacitor for the LP filter.

Anywho, the LP filter is soldered up and we're almost ready to go! :hyper:
