Alright, so first of all, sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place, but I just got this pedal (used from reverb, but the seller had great reviews) and it doesn't seem to work. The crossover light comes on but no matter how I turn the knobs, it doesn't affect my tone at all, and with the bypass turned on I get no sound at all. I've tried different power cords, and different 1/4 cables, but nothing seems to change. Any advice on what my next course of action should be?

I found the solution for my "no sound in bypass mode" problem.
It was not a faulty foot switch (although I can easily see how this might look like the culprit). I tested the foot switch with a multimeter and found it to be consistently functional. As I was doing so, however, I saw that several of the wires on ribbon cable connecting the foot switch module to the main circuit board had either been severed or were hanging by a thread. This explained the intermittent nature of the problem I experienced because the ribbon cable was stiff and thus made occasional contact.
The solution was thus to cut the ribbon cable from the foot switch module, strip it to reveal enough copper for re-soldering (a real pain ... I pared the insulation away with a scalpel) and re-solder it. Good as new.
Definitely a design flaw though. The ribbon cable is stiff and the combined action of removing an old battery and the pressure from the foam square on the lid has obviously over time weakened the copper. The ribbon cables should simply not contact the battery.
