desert island P bass...?

i know there was a thread here regarding what would be your fave bass if you could only have one...and you mentioned the P Bass.

but...any particular year, make, model? thin neck or chunky? I'm guessing it would be strung with Chromes...yes? Is this mystery P Bass a newer one or an older model?

so many different makes and versions of the awesome P Bass...just had to ask...

haha...desert island better have some juice...glad you caught that. let's see what good ole JMJ picks for his "if you can only have one P Bass", regardless of the desert island...but lets hope the island has some power...or even if it doesn't, it's that awesome feel of a P Bass with flats...calling Captain JMJ...

I dunno man, maybe my '75 Pbass with rounds, actually. Or my '66 with flats as a close second. Only 'cuz the rounds will be more audible, because I presumably wouldn't have an amp to play thru.

haha...i guess i shouldn't have asked "desert island"...brings up too many variables...good thing i didn't ask what your fave dessert would be...haha...mine would be a banana split!

i agree a P Bass is just so likable...to me it's strong, present, thick and slurpy...just oozes greatness...flats or rounds depending on taste...mostly flats for me these days, TI as of late...though Chromes are a nice...flats in general are like a well made enchilada platter with extra guacamole!
