DFW get-together anyone??

We can start around ten or eleven and go until whenever. I am new to Dallas and would love the chance to get to know some more of the bass players here in Tx.
Feel free to contact me and let me know what you might need. If we can't do it this time keep us in mind for next time.
The earliest we can do it would be July 31st and any time in August.

Alright everyone---you heard the man! Chime in with your suggestions and/or ideas for the get-together, whether July 31 would be good, and anything else you can think of!!
Hmm. 5-6 hours of drivetime. 700 mile round trip for me.
Hmm. could do some mileage accumulation on a work bike. Then i wouldn't be able to bring a bass.

We definitely need to start getting a head count, so everybody chime in ASAP as to whether or not you can attend.

Well, since it was my idea to lasso (that's a Texas term!) Pete Skjold in Lewisville into this, you KNOW I wanna be there!!
Although the August dates sound better than July 31st. I may be out of town for that - but not sure.Pete's shop is about 1 minute off of I-35 once you get into Lewisville (about 10 minutes north of Dallas). He has a shop with a garage style loading door that opens up if we "spill out" into the parking lot. We could still have a big grill fest out in his parking lot - it's not scenic but it sports some beautiful instruments!
