We all have trouble with DI boxes when we are giging right? Last year I bought myself a DI box that I bring with me to gigs. I have no probmlems any more now. Its a box called LR Baggs, its cheap and really takes care of the accoustic sound of the bass. Try it if you have problems with the usual boxes.
