Diablo III addicts

I've never been an online player. I'm a sit-in-the-dark-play-alone kind of quester. Plus I will just roam around the first levels for a good couple hours just killing and building up strength and mana. I'll even go through a level or 2 several times to get stronger for the next levels.

What are they charging for this?

Diablo 3 is (or can be if you want) single player game. Internet connection is still a must I`m afraid. There are few reasons for that:

1.PROTECTION FROM PIRACY

2.We have now online auction house where we can sell stuff that we will find (2 types of auction house: 1. with in game curency and 2. with real money) It`s up to you where you want to sell your items, but if you want to sell them for real money you will need pay pal account and you will have to wait a bit as Real Money Auction house is not available yet)

3. Every single quest you can do in the game alone, can be done in groups of max 4 players. Difficulty scales up with amount of players playing together: this means that if you play with your friend (just the 2 of you) monsters will be tough enough for 2 players...etc.

4. I played last night after midnight and I invited my friend to my game, I was able to give him items I didn`t need or even craft some items for him (I was already lvl 10 he was lvl 3)

So....Online option has a lot of pros and I love it!!!1 One big con is: NO INTERNET NO DIABLO 3.

Ps. I took few hours off from work went to the shop, stood for 3 hours in a queue and (I was 2nd in a queue) I got awsome T-shirt :))))

Pps. Did 13 lvls last night and I enjoyed every drop of blood spilled from monsters guts, every head chopped off and managed to get Masacre count up to 51 monsters in a row so far :)))))

Ppps. Sitting at work now...another 6h to do....can`t wait to go back home and slay mooooooooooore :))))

PPPPS. THIS GAME IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!

OH and yes after you buy Diablo 3 there is no subscriptions or anything (unless you want to buy stuff on real money auction house)

I'm not a big PC gamer.
I'll play SimCity and Civ5, but that's about as far as I go. I'm a console gamer.
I dont knock pc gamers. Most of my friends play on consoles, so I've never had a need to get into PC. Plus you have to keep upgrading so your comp can handle all the graphics being thrown at it.

Bought a 360 4 years ago, been very happy with it. It gave me the RROD last year, so I bought a refurb for $100.

If your PC takes a crap, you can't replace it for $100.

I just love when console people are pulling out the only argument they can think of against pc`s.

1. Every 3 - 4 years you have new console generation and new one costs around 300 - 400 e. So if you want to play new games with better graphics you have to get new console, and this will cost you 300 - 400e.

2. As a PC person I will have to buy graphic card and RAM to play new games:

New graphic card (I`m not talking about top range ones) will cost you about 100e and RAM costs about 20e ....

Now I have my current PC for nearly 5 years and I can play all games from the market majority on full details, the only money I`ve spent so far on it: 100 E for graphic card.

So IN YOUR FACE Console fans :PPP
On top of that console owners have to buy original games, or they have to tweak their consoles, loosing warranty and risking damaging console itself to play pirate copies.

PC owners can download them and play for free :PP

I AM NOT ENCOURAGING ANYONE TO DO THAT!!!! IT IS A CRIME!!!

So....do you really think consoles are cheap??
Think twice....
Besides I`m finding consoles being more arcade / dumb sure it`s entertaining and you can play with friends...and I love it :)...but....games on consoles (majority of them).

Shooters on consoles suck ass
There is no RTS games like starcraft
There is no MMORPG system that would be any good.
There is no DIABLO on console :)

Sooooo no thank you console people Ill stay with my expensive PC :)

PS. If your PC takes a crap, you can't replace it for $100.

yeah you can fix it for less
