If there is anything lacking in our closest GC it's bass strings for a 5 or 6. If you call them and inquire they always say, "yes" we have them, so I head that way. Only to get there and, no they don't. Seems they don't know a bass string from a tuba. I just order on line now. Saves me a 50 mile trip!
Their supply seems to be declining. I don't see a lot of them on eBay and Reverb searches, and even their Amazon and Stringsbymail shops are short of supply for many models. Their dealer in China also restocks slowly, which doesn't inspire confidence to a recent convert like me...
I feel like I may have seen a set of Labella strings in a physical Guitar Center once, years ago. Either flatwound or tapewound, I believe.
None of the strings that I currently favor are carried at the local Guitar Center. In a pinch, I could pick something there and use it, but generally speaking, I order strings online.
