did I get scammed or something?

Can someone who asks for your PayPal in order to pay you scam you in some way ? I had someone agree to buy something from me. Sent them my payment info where to send payment. They then permanently left the conversation. It was a short conversation they wanted the item and were excited about. Sent the info then they blocked me. Just seems very odd like someone trying to scam. Any thoughts ?

More likely they had buyer's remorse. Most TB scams involve selling you something, giving you something you didn't want or nothing at all. I have never heard of a member getting scammed when selling to someone (although I'm sure it has happened.)

I figured but I wanted to ask because it seemed so strange that I wanted to see if there was some scam I don’t know about. Can’t be too careful these days. I’ll chalk it up to flakey unless someone response with a real risk- but having my payment address doesn’t have a risk I know of
