There was a lot more to it than what we saw. I've been THAT frustrated myself, but thankfully have more sense than to rage quit in public. A simple "I'm done, guys, carry on without me" while loading out is all it takes, no need for all the drama.

Yup! I just quit a band half way through a practice. I quietly unplugged everything, packed it all up and left. Lots of raised eyebrows, but they all knew it had been comin' on for a while. No hard feelings I hope.
You'll all do it at least once in your lifetime...and you'll know precisely when that moment arrives.
