Well... depends on your definition of "on stage"....
While its probably true he never used the Ric in a live performance with the fabs, he did play it " on stage" in the HELLO GOODBYE video.
And they were on a stage...

It’s the same sort of thing as “When I’m 64” or “Honey Pie”, maybe even “Good Day Sunshine”….Paul’s flirtation with British Music Hall, no better, no worse. “My Love” is just typical 70’s Paul schlock.

True. He is a master of melody, and a genius at writing / playing bass lines, but some of his lyrics are a bit sappy.
I like "My Love," actually lol.
I know some people just don't like Pop, but I'm always surprised by how people can be fans and still not like some of his popular stuff.
Anyway, I just listened to it again and didn't hear a wrong note. Denny Laine was a pretty darn good bass player.

This song is amazing. I was the biggest Beatles fan when I was younger, but l think this is better than half the songs on any given Beatles album.
I’ve always loved the song and the bass in it.
I just did a Beatles night and did a deep dive into a bunch I hadn’t played before. I wasn’t aware of the controversy over Long and winding road bass “sabotage” by John. Part of the challenge of the gig became which “mistakes” or oddities to play.
