Did you guys see this?

Sorry about the link..... It was misbehaving when I tried to post?

I think I was just stunned that someone would try to sell something that beat for that much $$! Did ya see the size of the chunk out of the finish on the bottom? Holy cow!!!

I love the poor English mixed with an initial description of "BARGAIN!"

I recall a guy who was convinced his Squier was worth $600 before because he paid list for it.

After reading further, I laughed out loud as "crack line on wood but not so deep!"

The early 80's MIJ Squier instruments were of very high quality and pretty much equal to a lot of the MIA Fender stuff of the era. There are collectors who want the MIJ early Squier stuff. A friend of mine has an early 80's MIJ Squier Strat, and it plays and sounds better, and is of a finer build quality, than a good number of the MIA Strat's he has had over the years. The J Basses are quite good too. 1G may not too far out of line for the asking price for a really clean one. Sadly this one isn't.

I agree with thumpbass. Were that Squier without that ugly body rash it would be right there in the collectables market. I think '83 was the first MIJ Squier.

I had an '84 MIJ SquierJazz and am sorry I sold it. I also regret letting go of an '84 MIJ fretless Jazz Std.

I don't know about anyone else but IMO, calling a buyer a coward on ebay is just about as ******** as it gets. What is there to be afraid of? How is one a coward on ebay?
