I guess this finish is either love or hate it and I would've never sought it out to begin with, but since it came up locally I guess it's a different scenario.
Although I do like the finish I don't feel like I need to get a matching telecaster or acoustic guitar by any means, but I'll admit I was a bit enamored with it when I first saw it and it's continued to grow on me considerably.
I thought about sourcing some bridge covers in some nice shiny chrome but I think I would just put them on once just to see what they look like and then set them aside as if it would just be in the way.
Well I do want to thumbrest, and I looked at was available on eBay and was not impressed. So I took an old piano key that's ebony and made my own.
