Difference between Fishman and Tone Hammer

Could someone please splain the difference between the Fishman Pro-EQ Platinum Bass and the Aguilar Tone Hammer pedal. A friend bought the ATH and uses it with his Fender Jazz Bass and the tone was wonderful. I have the Fishman and use it with my Kala UBass and soon a Gold Tone Micro Bass.

the fishman is made for acoustic instruments, especially piezo-pickup instruments without their own preamps.

the aguilar is likely just a regular electric bass preamp.
