Thank youSo, you're comparing a jazz to a modern spec'd P and a vintage spec'd P. Well done...you've done nothing to show the difference between the brands/countries of origin...

yeah if you buy a squier all you need to do is swap pickups to the cs60s they use in the American standards and a few mods on the bridge to make it string through and BOOM!!!!......custom shop besides all your paying for when you buy a MIA is the made in usa fine print
the price was defiantly worth it IMHO.

While I totally agree that's the kind of comment that will get you in a lot of trouble around here.American Standard is better than Squier and MIM. I think people sometimes can't afford the American so they try to argue that theirs is better or just as good but it isn't.
Sorry, nevermind. They are all good. Each bass guitar is a unique and special snowflake. While I totally agree that's the kind of comment that will get you in a lot of trouble around here.
I think that if money wasn't a factor all these people who claim that they have squiers/MIM that are "as good as ......" would actually have American std or custom shop bassesSorry, nevermind. They are all good. Each bass guitar is a unique and special snowflake.
Not true at all, some are just smart with their money.American Standard is better than Squier and MIM. I think people sometimes can't afford the American so they try to argue that theirs is better or just as good but it isn't.
It wouldn't be TB without this. Get relics into the mix. A pinch of tonewood. Eye of bat, tongue of frog... Voila! The perfect TB thread, even without trucks, trains, mama, rain, prison, or getting drunk!Oh bass gods, why must we go through this every week? Where, oh, where have we sinned in our lives? Forgive us!
I throw away money in the name of maximum playability and tone. Not true at all, some are just smart with their money.
Well there you go....I throw away money in the name of maximum playability and tone.
