A few days ago I got my Tecamp Puma 500. It seems that there are not many good quality sound samples out there (did KJung pull his Youtube reviews? They were quite helpful to me!), so I decided to record some.
Both sets are recorded via line out with the EQ set flat, showing three settings of the taste control (centered, "Dry", "Rich").

For some more details see the Soundcloud description. The "Dry" examples are more quiet than the others, because that's what happens at this "Taste" setting. Of course you will adjust the gain in real life, but I decided not to do so for this demo to show the effect.
It's the first time I recorded something this way, so I'm open to suggestions for improvements.
And please don't mind my playing. I'm only waiting for my matching S212 cab to arrive, and then I'll head right over to apply for membership in the "Crappy bassists with expensive gear" club. Though I'd fit the "Happy bassists with expensive gear" club as well with this amp.
