Digitech BP-355

if you have this pedal, please, post a little video-review. In Brazil we don't have experience with this pedal, and I want to buy, but I need references befores... Please, help me, thanks.

I will be doing a video review soon on this pedal. I can tell you, though, that you would not be dissapointed in this pedal. I am amazed by the quality of it. Put it this way, any sound you could want or need, or never knew you needed until you tried it and loved it, is in here.

im definatly getting one. it has a great list of effects and cabs amps including the 70's monster the accoustic 360 cab. funny thing is the two indie cd's we put out. lol was my lb 76 in a digitech ledgen 21 run to a tascam 488 portastudio but that was 98 and 2000. and is what got us signed in 2002. but sometimes so now after losing the studio and alot of my equip as well to a crazy night of celabrating and one dead guitarist back to recording again. now on a bp 355 and a 2488 portastudio.

I'm thinking about going with the BP200 because of budget constraints. Have any of you guys used this?

I've had one. it was pretty decent, but I think it's more suitable for beginners. but for the record, it does has pretty cool sounds. the digitech bp355 would be a much better choice because it has a much larger variety of effects, amp and models. and you can create a lot of cool sounds with it. if you really are on a tight budget on owning a multi-effects processor for you bass and your curious about digitech processors, the digitech bp90 would be a good choice. I have a thread where I share a video I've found on youtube of a video demonstration on the digitech bp90. Here's the link to the thread.

The only problem I would have with the bp90 is that it does not have an aux in.

Apparently no. the digitech bp90 does not contain an aux output. it only has a headphone output.

well I went ahead and got the BP355 anyways. It seems everyone likes it on here and it has everything that I need. A lot of the online stores are sold out and will not be shipping out until July. Thanks for all of your info and advice on here. Looking forward to trying out the bp355

Just got a counter offer on a BP355 for 169.95 with free shipping on ebay brand new. That seems like a good price.

There you go. the digitech bp355 is totally awesome in my opinion. you can create a lot cool sounds with this multi-effects processor. I've been using it to record music for my band. and as everyone else would know, I've recorded sound samples of the digitech bp355 on my soundclick website. if you're thinking of buying the digitech bp355 at that price, take a chance on purchasing one and give it shot. I think you would dig it. I know I do.:):bassist:

I know a lot of people have a negative vibe toward GC. But I do have a success story as it relates to the BP-355. Yesterday before work I dropped by our local GC and picked one up. Exhausted all avenues for a better deal and GC was the only one on the area with stock. Anyway i paid the full price 199.99. Didn't have time to check it out or open the box at the store so just threw it in the car and away I went. Well I get home and there's no charger.

First I thought no problem I have plenty of chargers laying around and when I get around to it I'll go back and tell them it came without a charger. NOT - AC/AC CHARGER. So I automatically started thinking how (based on the feedback for GC) i was going to let the bimbo that sold it to me have it in the AM. Wasted trip but necessary.

So I arrive right after they open, same bimbo in accessories and I explained that it was short a charger. Before I could let him have it he explained they'd been receiving a lot of product from Digitech without chargers. He said luckily they shipped a bunch to the store because of their screw up. Well, I was thinking again how to let him have it!! Then he told me he would take another twenty dollars off the price and give me another 10.00 for gas and trouble!!! Total price (with repeat trip) 169.99 - not bad!!! And ok GC, one more chance.

Now i can't wait to start experimenting!!!

Now thats the kind of story I like. Hey MetroBass, great purchase. I bought mine as well from GC and had no problems.
You will have a blast with this. If you like a juicy synth tone (think "Let it Whip" from the Dazz Band) you can get it. If you want a screaming lead guitar, Boom....done. This thing has some cool sounds so take your time and explore and expirement. The octaver is glitchy but you have to adjust your bass tones and that should do the trick.

Sorry I ramble but I have had a blast with this unit. Good luck.

Check out CrystalMans thread on patch ideas. Hes got some good ones.
