Digitech is killing it with their new pedals!

Let me know! I have a small stone as well. If you don't mind of course.
Ask and you shall receive! Here is a very quick recording I put together tonight:

My signal chain and the settings are listed in the description.

Verdict: Tough call! The EHX is definitely much more pronounced and the DOD is actually quite subtle with my setup. That said, I've determined that I prefer the tone of the DOD and how it has a natural filter to it that affects highs and mids more than lows, which is great because things don't get too muddy. So, I'm going to keep the DOD.

Thats an awesome video! Thanks for sharing man. I dug the way he used the whammy in that video. I think I even liked the digitech whammy graphic you guys put in there interactively. Looked awesome!

Thanks! We've really been trying to step up our videos. We've been trying to do more quick and dirty vids and at the same time increase the quality of the videos that convey ideas and concepts rather than nuts and bolts.

I strongly recommend that you do not mess with the trim pots inside the 201. The range of adjustment is VERY narrow and difficult to reset. It is true that you can adjust the trim pot to get a different sound, but I would suggest that it is not better and in fact can be quite a bit worse. Lastly, SMD trimpots are small and with too much torque can be easily broken. over the years I have collected a bunch of vintage 201's, ALL of them except one had the internal trim pots adjusted incorrectly post purchase, some to the point where the pedal was considered by the seller to be defective.

I know I can't stop you from messing with your pedal, but at least now you know that there are risks to doing so.
