Digitech JamMan Delay Looper

anyone had any experience with this yet?
i'm very tempted, i feel i've taken my Boss RC-2 as far as i can. the short loop time is really starting to annoy me.

I assume the digitech will have the built in drum machine, as lame as the beats on the RC-2 were they were often useful

I had a JamMan for a while. It had some basic beats in it. I have also tried the Line6 looper. I could 'get creative' with the Line6 way faster. However they both sucked my bass tone dry. Another friend of mine who is a pro player uses the Boss RC50 and it looks to be the looper to get. I currently have no looper because of the tone sucking aspects associated with them. The Line6 is way easier to use but probably effects the bass tone more than the Digitech. The Line6 also has a much better set of drum sounds stored in it out of the box. I'd try the RC50 next if it were me.

If you do end up with the Digitech make sure you get the optional 2 button pedal you will most likely enjoy it much more with it.

for all its faults and limitations the RC-2 didn't ruin my tone too much, i'll investigate the models you mention

the looperlative seems to have a small number of controls for a large number of features, i wonder how user friendly it will be?

I'm seriously considering this, It's got tap tempo and 35 minutes of stereo loop time. Can do 16 hours of audio too...

As far as I understand it's the only looper that will allow you to loop laterally...so instead of setting a loop and being stuck with it you can add in this or that wherever you want in that loop and it won't get cut off where it stops/starts.

Though it'll be mono it will sound great and be easy to use.
