Digitechrep: Bass Whammy shipping yet?

So it doesn't sound super fake when you use it as a drop-tuner? I have no doubt that all the intervals are in-tune with the clean root (we're not talking about Mooer pitch shifters) but how the affected note sounds is what I was asking about.

Seriously, shifting in between, you really can't tell it's not a B string. Actually, with my six string, I drop tune E to a D, and when I fret the second and drop it, it sounds better (no, seriously, better) than my actual B. Don't know why, new strings and all...
And, you've seen the signal chain from my picture, lots of crap in between the BW and the amp... still amazing tone. Truly is 'true bypass' too.
This pedal kicks ass. Why didn't they make this sooner???

I'm too excited now to feel bad, heh.

The cancellation email I sent to my rep was super nice.

I wonder if any of the reps/employees who've dealt with us throughout this thing will ever be made aware of this thread. I'd get a kick out of it, if I were them.

And for anyone who is curious, it powers up with a Powerall Multi-Tap adapter (typical Boss 9V plug ends), no problem. I didn't use the wall wart, but it does come with interchangeable European and North American plug plates. I guess they wanted to cover all bases.

I forgot that I used to have one of those, good little unit. Based on that I'm not even worried anymore that that Mooer Micro will be fine. This is going to be a siiick pedboard.

Still man.....why go back on your word?

I assume a Sweetwater rep has kept you informed for quite some time, I think It's pretty rude to cancel to save a few days of shipping man...

It's just business. Really, consider the alternative: those of us who diligently watched and preordered back in January (1/23 for me) are now still waiting to even have their B-whamz ship, whereas a lot of people who just showed up when it finally arrived in various places have already bought and received (or at least gotten shipping confirmation in some cases) theirs.

Have you considered that Sweetwater hasn't gotten theirs yet because the "first batch" all went to these littler places? I'd hope that even if SW doesn't get as many as we all expected right away, the earliest preorders were still able to be filled.

And in all fairness, they haven't been sending me my favorites candies for a while.

I was very skeptical to be honest, but I even went so far as to send the signal back through the tuner to see what it did, and...

yes... it does what it says. 2nd's , 4th's, 5th's, Octaves and 2 Octaves all tuned in as they should have. Checked every setting, and it really works. I play 4, 5 6 and 8 string and it was flawless with all of them.

The harmony octave up/10th up is such a cool sound, I can see myself using that a good deal.

The Classic /Chord function is really nice, it does track chords better in Chord mode.

Overall, I'm rippin' the feet off this bitch and stickin' the velcro down!!!

Thanks for the intel, Goatsy! Hopefully this thread could be a spot to share info like this as we dig into this beast....

Im in the Chicagoland area so I may have mine as soon as tomorrow considering SW is located in Indy. Come on UPS!!!

Actually they are just west of Ft Wayne Indiana, on US 30. If you are ever in the area you should stop in and look at the place. The last time I went by I saw they are building more warehouse space.

BTW, I'm in Ohio now but I know Aurora. I went to high school with the Hix brothers. I assume they still have Hix Music.

Cool, I went to school in Twinsburg. Lived in Aurora Shores, close to Sea World. That area of the world used to be great for music. I'm in Cincy now, but miss metro Cleveland.
