Dimarzio Will Power Middle good for fretless P?

Has anyone used the Will Power for fretless at all? Thoughts?
I like the idea of it but I'm not sure if it will be a good match. I know the Model P is recommended for fretless, but I have the chance to swap for a Will Power (if I'm quick ).

A couple of months ago I replaced stock Korean P's for a second hand set of DP146 P's [Will Power].
At first I felt they were kind of boomy compared to the stock pickups.
They seem to blend better with the G-humbucker [DP121] at the bridge.

In the end I like 'm, but to me they need a "more polite" way of playing than the stock pickups.
They do add a tad of 'character".

I've always believed that the DP122/Model P was the standard stock replacement and that the DP146/Willpower was different in some way, but without knowing how it differed.

Just curious as to the difference between the two and some idea as to which basses would sound better with the Model P and which might sound better with the Willpower. Or, is it a midrangy vs scooped thing?

Several years ago I replaced an anemic P-bass pup with a Model P and afterwards it did sound much better but I wondered at the time if I should have chosen a Willpower instead. I don't think I've ever played a bass with a Willpower installed.

I used Yamaha Attitudes for years, started getting more into fretless so I had one built with the features I liked on the Attitude, wasn't sure if the Willpowers would suit a fretless so I ended up going with a Seymour Duncan Steve Harris pick up as its just a bit more polite than the Willpower pick ups I find. I still think it would sound good, the Willpower are awesome pick ups they just are a bit more specialized I find.
They really excel at that pissed off P bass sound. If you are getting a deal on them I'd say try them out, if they aren't for you, you've got tons of other great P bass pick ups to choose from.

I have a P with a Will Power middle pickup. Good agressive pickup with forward mids. Ideally, for a fretless, I favor a bridge pickup to get lots of mids (where the mwah lives), but if your bass just has a P pickup, I think a Will Power would likely be a good choice in that situation.
