I have seen them pop up here and there in the Talkbass classifieds but it's always earlier gens. The used price is so high I would recommend buying a new one with the new hardware and pickup covers

What's different about the new hardware and covers though? I'm about to pull the trigger on a NG3 but i don't know if it has these upgrades.

If you're looking to get an ng3 with three pickups from the factory and not a modded ng2 it'll def have the newer hardware and pickup.
