See, that was my first thought given the location. But, it's not their Reverb shop, and that Z isn't on their website (but there's a cool Prima there!)
I am acquainted with real-life @pbass6811, I'll ping him and let him know. He was certainly alive and OK as of a couple of days ago.
I didn't even know it was possible for TalkBass inboxes to fill up!
In the Afterburner I photo gallery. Once again, I don't have an image-hosting service. I tried to upload Dingwall's glamour shot to TB, but couldn't figure out how to do it...
I wanted a finish that looks like well-oxygenated blood, and here it is (Glock pre, FDV pickups, alder body)...

Weird, it didn’t have all of the typical photos they do but I thought I recognized some of the background from their photos
I’ve been away from the Dingwall club for a while, but now I’m back.
Loving that four stringer! Come to think of it, most all of my favorite music was done without the benefit of the extended ranges!

Ended up getting a proper FD3 bridge pickup from the classifieds for my SP1 5er, and also swapped from NYXL strings to DR Pure Blues.
Sounding and feeling better than ever!
If anyone has a 4 string Canadian pickup (ideally super fatty II or P tone, maybe FD3) they're looking to sell, please let me know - I'd also like to swap the FD3n out of the bridge on my 4 string SP1.
The FD3n is no slouch, don't get me wrong, but I like the tighter lows and different upper mid vibe on the FD3s a bit more, and would also be curious to hear how the p tone or super fatty would pair with the SP1 P pickup

I believe in 3x configs they are basically doing Neck-Bridge-Neck, so I believe it would, though it might not hurt to double check with them. Yeah, I haven't bumped that post in a while.
Brought the SP1 out for its maiden voyage last night with a national Sublime tribute act. Sounded and played great! I went with both pups in series. Head Soundguy was a Dingwall Combustion player himself, he was stoked to see/hear the SP1 out in the wild for the first time. I used no comp or efx, dude said it sounded phenomenal out front. Was a great night, there was a heck of lot more people to my left that this photo didn't capture.
Series is so punchy and sits in the mix great. Looks like a great gig!
