My buddy got some great video, I'll post the YouTube link when he uploads it. They are professionals to the highest degree. Incredible the mix of people they brought together and absolutely everyone was shaking their head in amazement the whole show. I don't think I've ever seen another group come close to playing together like that. Truly incredible.

We played with Corey Henry last year and it was a really fun show. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do in the context of an open jam.

I love Snarky Puppy. It's the first band that's had me really excited about music in the past few years. Stellar musicians, great music and a great overall concept (of rotating musicians). Plus, they work really hard and deserve all the recognition that they're finally getting. The only downside is that you won't see them in small intimate venues as much anymore.

Dingwall owner friends!

After much GAS, debate, and hesitation for my next bass purchase I decided to drain my bass savings instead of settling on a more budget friendly bass like the original plan.

I'll be ordering a 4 String combustion direct from the factory, but was not aware the NG2 was also available as a 4 stringer now... Leading to another wrench in my stocking.

Any argument for or against springing the extra few hundred bones on the NG2? Any recommended options when i price this out?

So I've been putting time into both my ABZ-5 and ABHS-4 and really can say that extra 0.8lbs (8.8lbs vs 9.6lbs) in the ABHS can be felt and is quite pleasant. There's this extra heft to the normal resonance that I feel in the body of the bass that vibrates through the neck as well. You don't get the same feeling with the ABZ. It's especially noticeable when I have it in drop-D and wale on the open low D string. I am very interested in a 5-string version now.
