Dingwall Strings - Do they have corrosion issues?

Are we talking nickel-plated steel or stainless steel?
The the NPS set will be much more susceptible to corrosion all things being equal. Personally, I have never seen an NPS set show rust or corrosion unless they've been used as intended.

Short answer: no.
Long answer: any string corrosion that happened over the years was a result of the company that makes the envelopes (and surprisingly, we all get them from one source) changed how they bleach the paper. They added a chlorine, which reacted with nearly all guitar strings. At this time, most bass strings were immune to this issue, as the paper used in the bass envelopes was a heavier duty, white woven paper.
There was a class action lawsuit with all of the string makers (save one, that hadn't been using envelopes for quite some time, for a completely different reason) against the paper company. The breaching process was changed back as well. However, most of us have switched to other methods at this point, as the stigma of that whole thing is still pretty solid in people's minds.
Anything you might see with bass strings, at this time, is probably a slightly anomaly in the wire, or a fluke.

I don't use Dingwall strings as such, but the two main brands I've used in the last several years, ie GHS and DR, still come in unsealed paper envelops. And I've never had any issues of premature corrosion or dead strings out of the pack.
Same here. I've played since 1984 and live in a very humid area right next to the Atlantic Ocean. I've never, ever bought a pack of strings with a corrosion issue.
