Dirty Loops - Work “poop” Out

A lot of sound for 3 guys.

Well, yeah...though tbh that's always been the thing about Dirty Loops that prevents me from really 100% drinking the Kool-Aid and becoming a fanboi (not that there's anything wrong with that). There's always so much sound, so many layers, in their tunes, that I often find myself wondering: How do they do that in live performance?

I would love to see them live. Either as a trio, or as whatever they have to be to pull that off. Though I'd genuinely prefer to hear them w/ some extra session players rather than with backing tracks. Or, if they wanna completely blow my mind and pull all of that sound out of just a trio, I'm cool with that too! I just wanna know.

Because cot day-um their videos are good.

When listening to stuff like that, I sometimes get overloaded by the sheer amount of information being beamed at me. Sometimes a couple of power chords, a chugging 8th note bass, and a straight simple drumbeat is a great contrast to the pyrotechnics. I always loved when The Dregs would do their Zeppelin thing, it was a perfect counterpoint to the fusion assault.
