I havent seen many demos of the VT Bass with dirty tones so I made a little clip of some famous songs that have nice dirty bass tones. The tones are not exact, I was trying to get an approximation of the tones with the gear I have on me right now.
Rig:
Univox 4001 Ric Copy -> Tu-2-> Rat Deucetone -> VT Bass ->Direct to Motu 828mkii Preamp
I ran Guitar Rig Control Pro Cabinet Simulator and used an 8x10 with an SM57 and U47 both center, with no ambience.
There was no editing done to the clips, there are noises and things like that...the Univox pickups are very noisy when overdriven and feedback sometimes.
The songs are:
Queens of the Stone Age - Give The Mule What he Wants (w/Rat)
Queens of the Stone Age - First It Giveth (w/Rat)
Earl Greyhound - Shotgun (w/Rat)
Failure - Frogs
Tool - The Pot
Nine Inch Nails - Only (w/Rat)
Yes - Hear of the Sunrise
Title Fight - Secret Society

I will be adding to this whenever I record some new tones. The Rat really goes well with bass. I only used a fraction of the sounds of the pedal (although they all sound like a rat) but it retains bass and can go from pretty dark to way too bright.
If anyones interested, I have some crappy pics of the settings I used.
