Every time a routing question pops up I think by myself 'yes it can be done but I forgot how'. And the manual is the censored word.
I am still enjoying my Core a lot. I have been looking at the Darkglass Anagram though...But it doesn't have gap-less preset switching nor global effect blocks. Those are the things that make presets acceptable/workable for me. Makes it feel like a pedalboard instead of a computer. Now that you can buy plugins for the Anagram (there is free ones but many cost up to 50 euro) it also can become a money pit. The Boss is kinda 'old school' now : )
Something I am using recently: I have set a footswitch to toggle delay feedback (on a global fx-block) between 50 en 90 and when I switch preset when the feedback is at 90 the LED on the new preset is still reflecting the current/correct status. That is quite sophisticated if you ask me! I understand that this is rather niche and will not be useful if you if you play songs with 4 seconds pause between them. But for a loud noisy band like mine this is very nice and pedalboard like.
