Discontinued Boss pedals

Anybody out there using discontinued/vintage boss pedals on their bass rigs?

Obviously aside from the brown bass series pedals...

I know a bunch of people out there use HM-2 pedals for nice dirty fuzz tones, what else?

I'm keen to try a few more!

I used to have a Slow Gear for violin effects but when I saw how much it was worth I sold it and got a Guyatone instead.
Does the ME-6B count? It's a multi with a killer synth.

Had a Boss FT-2 and EH-2 up to a month ago. Almost pulled the trigger for a TW-1, but it was horrible on bass. The FT-2 was OK if put through a LS-2.

I have a Boss PN-2 Pan/Tremolo on my board. Works like a charm!

90s Boss 3Q-B3, since it's discontinued, though I'm not sure why. I much prefer it to the graphic EQ. Also, I've only recently removed an early 80s NF-1, which I actually really liked in terms of cleaning up the remaining background hiss and single coil noise I'd get sometimes. Alas, the board is small, and I'm not about to get a larger one to keep everything together...

I run a RV-3, OC-2, and occasionally a BF-2. The only non discontinued one I run is a CEB-3.

I have a DC-2 which sounds great. I've also wanted a PN-2 and a PS-3 for a while. Always on the lookout for one of those going cheap.

i have a ce-2 chorus, which needed just the change of one or two caps to convert it to the ce-2b bass chorus.

Cuts lots of bass, but the distortion isn't bad if you don't turn up the scoop too much. Could modify it to probably be really good, but I've just put it off. It has such a sweet name though, I had to have one.

Boss PSM-5 power pedal. It's kind of just a glorified A/B switch, but I love it.

I jump around a lot on stage when we play. For me, stomping a Boss pedal is a lot easier target than say, a 3DPT switch sticking out of nano sized pedal. It's also the "first" pedal in my board, and it's easy to reach.

My last one was ruined when my ceiling fell on it (Hurricane Irene) and I found a brand new old stock one on the bay for around $40.

You used to have a CC300, IIRC? How does it compare with the DC-2, for a cheaper, easily available option? I know the deal about radio buttons on the DC-2 vs the on/off ones on the CC300.

FZ-2 Hyper Fuzz: love this has 2 fuzzes plus a clean gain boost
OC-2 Octave: perfect for fatness plus did the synthy mod for a squarewave
PS-3 Digital Pitch Shifter/Delay: 2 sec digi-delay, harmonies, -2 to +2 oct, whammy, reverse pitch shifiting, reverse delay....LOVE IT!
