These are the Pouncey twins Mike and Maurkice, who play center for the Dolphins and Steelers of the NFL respectively. They also played college football with Aaron Hernandez, currently awaiting trial for murder and the evidence, while circumstantial, seems extensive.
The hats are in poor taste, to say the least.

They're far from gods. I see most of them as over-coddled, overpaid d-bags. What saddens me is they think this crap is cool, and that young starstruck followers buy into this garbage.

Because a lot of the fans of the NFL and NBA are mental midgets like these two, I bet you will see these start showing up.

Eric, I think you are being pretty unfair. There are far more NFL players that are good people than bad. The bad apples just get all the publicity. For instance look at the stuff Andre Johnson has done with his foundation, and what J.J. Watt has done with his time with the Berry kids. Braylon Edwards gave 79 kids 10 grand each for college which came out to more than his entire years salary.
I used to buy the "there are way more good guys than bad guys in the NFL" line too. I think it is closer to equal nowadays.

The NFL is fast turning into the NBA with its gangsta thug culture and I don't like it one bit.
When these clowns have all blown their money and are living in a box under the bridge at age 40 I wouldn't feel sorry for them at all.

Yep, a majority may be good guys, but the sports world doesn't direct attention toward the good guys, they aggrandize people like this. You watch ESPN or listen to sports radio, they defend the garbage and rarely mention the guys who do anything good.

I dont know. Maybe I am just lucky to have a home town team that drafts character guys. There aren't many Texans getting in trouble.
And to the poster that said its about half bad guys. I think you are completely wrong about that.
You can think I am wrong, that's fine. I was an NFL nut for the better part of 30 years, and felt exactly the same as you do the whole time. Not anymore.
