Distorted sound

I have a swr 550x which I play with a Goliath III, the cabinet sounded distorted so I sent it to the shop and I bought a gk backliner 410 blx-II for the mean time and also so I can use both cabs together but is has a bad distortion sound, now I'm thinking is the amp.
Any ideas, anything I can do?

Try changing the bass battery.

Yes, I did that, and also tried a passive bass and there is no difference.
