The guitar (I think it's ok if we're quiet) version of the Big Muff is what I use. That pedal in particular I've heard has good bass fidelity.

You should check out "The Searcher" by UTFSF-FX, it's completely brutal.

For brutal, I like the MXR Blow Torch with the side red switch engaged.
I don't know about brutal but it is certainly aggressive!
