Hi everybody,
This is my first post on TB, after about a decade of intermittent lurking.
I like my bass amp a bit raised and tilted up. Recently I had an idea for a lightweight and collapsible stand design, and last weekend I finally built a prototype -
The strap should have velcro (not there yet), to serve as a packing device when the stand is disassembled. The two rectangular openings also serve as carrying handles in the “packed” configuration.
This is still a work in progress, and clearly, has many imperfections - I have very limited experience in carpentry, and used only a jigsaw and hand files. But I am quite pleased with my first attempt so far ;-)
More photos and discussion (for those of you who read Hebrew...) here.
What do you think? Any ideas for improvement?
