Well I was researching small practice amps and came across the Phil jones double four. It looks pretty sweet but too pricy for me right now. I decided to try to build my own version while buying as few materials as possible. I built it using 1/2in ply I had left over
and speakers off amazon.

I wired them in series to get 8ohms. If I did it again I would use a small amp off amazon like this.

And use one of those VOX headphone amps as a pre. I did it this way because I had an old amp that had been sitting around forever.
I don’t have it ported yet but it hits the low B pretty well for me and I’m happy with it. I still need to clean it up, sand and paint.
