Had some interest in how one would do this themselves so I thought I'd post a quick thread about it.
Step 1: Buy this Invalid Link Removed.
Step 2: Buy this Invalid Link Removed.
Step 3: Use small flat head screwdriver to pry TRS metal body away from plastic housing.
Step 4: Solder one lead to ground (blue line) and the other lead to one terminal (red line), and then solder the two terminals together with a short lead (red line). Essentially, make it look like this picture (pay no attention to the actual leads in the picture- just look at the red and blue lines):
Step 5: snap body and housing back together.

*Results may vary. I've really only used them in Line 6 DL4's (Important note here- when using them with a DL4, you must follow the expression pedal setup in the Line 6 User Manual. They won't work right away with your presets and must be set up with your presets in order to function), but they should be able to work with any expression jack (to varying degrees, of course).
