Seems like this is closer to what you're trying to get. I think you will have to start drilling more holes for pots and knobs at this point, so you may want to reconsider putting this into a pedal-type unit like I did a few years ago.
Basically, the bass has four knobs now, so you will have to drill some holes or use concentric knobs, which I feel adds a few layers of extra work to the project.
Thought I might toss this wiring diagram up for a blend pot addition. Cool preamp!

I just took a quick look in my LTspice model. That sub would make an absolutely huge difference in treble voicing.
