DNA 1350 head ?

I did a lot of measurements after I got it.
The amp is very quite.
The fan is ok, in my rack very silent.
The power is more then I expected for a class D.
I compared it with my NAV/WT1000 combination with a DNS410 and I would say it comes close to the WT1000 not class D power.
The DI is dead silent and as good as I know it from Eden.
A look under the hood shows only the best components nowadays used in audio applications.
I am a happy customer.

I bought one of the signed DNA 1350s (David Nordschow signed the first 50) from the terrific folks at Bass San Diego last fall. It's an outstanding head in every way: very powerful (not sure about 1350 RMS watts @ 4 ohms but more than enough for most venues even without FOH); great EQ points for my mostly-vintage tone goals; eerily silent; a superb and flexible on-board compressor; tank-like build quality; and all of 7 lbs in a smallish but not absurd form factor.

I'm driving Berg HD 112s (2), an HD 210, and a CN 210 in various configurations. The modular HT322 equivalent is really sensational. And I've successfully driven THREE of my 8-ohm Bergs at sane master levels with no problem at all (despite the 2.67 ohm load), yielding something close to the Voice of the Gods. This head is a terrific, if not widely recognized, piece of engineering by David N.

I played one at Bass San Diego a few months ago. Ran a Sadwosky 5 through it into a Bergantino 212. I thought that whole package sounded exceptional. All the EQ points were set where I like them, the amp was super quiet and it could get plenty loud. All of this IMO.
Bass San Diego still has one left in stock. It's a very good amp - clean sound with discernible Eden heritage. I agree on the well-chosen EQ centers. David didn't go with semi-parametric EQ on this one, but the four bands of fixed centers work well.
