Do 2 band EQ and 3 band EQ Rays have different neck profiles?

Went to GC today to buy a new cab and didnt bring my bass which, is an 03 EBMM Ray with a 2 band EQ. The neck on that thing is a monster. I played a new 09 Ray at GC when demoing the cab and the neck was significanly slimer than my neck. Is it a difference in years, or amount of EQ controls? Anyone else notice this?

no man, it was the actual width of the neck. Mine seems way thicker than the one I played today. Mine is 6 years old though
