Do i change to much?

Your spec looks thorough, but, have you played a bass with this shape? It might prove to be uncomfortable because of where the strap pins will likely be attached and consequently where your fretting arm/wrist will be positioned and the angle of your wrist. Just something to consider.

Personally, I'd love an Alembic Exploiter, or a similar custom.
If you can afford a custom, and are sure of what you want, go for it.

as i said, i have owned a Jackson KBX(Familiar with the Jackson kelly guitars?) wich have a bit more "scooped" out body style than the explorers. wich makes it have a few more curves than what the explorer shape have.. anyway, im also gonna wear it quite high(becouse i have become comfortable playing that way now) so its gonna be in a kinda entwistle position, actually, i can feel that i miss the "tail" on my other basses now...

The KBX, i would think have just as long neck as your regular explorer bass, and i never had a problem with the feeling on the neck on thoose, nor sharp wrist angles as far as i remember.
(its not gonna be an alembic though, they are FAR out of my price class...)

Cool, I forgot that the Jackson KBX was a similar shape. No offense, just a friendly "are you sure comment". As I said, I'd love an Exploiter and I'll get one one day to go with my other Alembics.

Nothing compares with the fun of spec'ing and designing a custom bass. Having bit the big bullet and bought myself an Alembic Series 2 with almost everything Alembic offers and designed to my spec's (fingerboard dimensions, external carving, etc) I can tell you there's almost nothing more fun. If you can afford to do it and you are reasonably sure what you want (You have done a lot of research.), go for it.

Just remember that as soon as you finish creating, your juices are going to be so strong that you'll think of something else. Also remember that your own tastes change sometimes. In my case, I had to dump my custom (at only a small loss, very fortunately) because I couldn't keep $XX thousands tied up in a bass with my oldest starting college. But, truth be told, getting to play that bass, which was truly everything I'd never been able to find, put together in a stunning package, wasn't all it was cracked up to be. In many ways, I found that having my deepest and subtlest desires in a bass satsified wasn't as important as I thought. I still miss it, but frankly, I have more fun designing and hacking out my own creations and have enough surplus $$ to do that. My two cents, for whatever it's worth. Make sure you post pix and keep us posted on what you decide to build... ;)

When I read some of the posts on the Alembic Club, and other similar manufacturer forums, I get the feeling that that is a large part of the attraction in getting such a custom built. As I've never had a custom built by them myself (though I've owned one new Alembic, and still have 2 pre-loveds) it was only a guess. There's not much I'd change about either of mine, nor much desire to get one made to spec. My new Alembic, bought in 84 was an off the rack purchase; a Distillate.

Well, now this Custom bass aint gonna be among the most expensive ones, max 2000 dollar, and thats the same price a Stingray would have costed me here in the country...
For the cost of a new 'Ray, if your preferences are towards a different custom, then go for it. If it's a well made instrument with quality components it sounds like a good deal.
