Do I need a bypass looper???

Hi!

I'm setting up a brand new pedalboard, and I was wondering if I needed a bypass looper, such as a boss LS2 or a little lehle
Here are my effects :

Korg Pitchblack (which normally is TBP) > Boss PS5 > Boss PH3 > EHX SMMH > Jamman > BDDI

i'm waiting for my order of the PS5 and PH3 to arrive at home then I don't know if my signal would be affected by the amount of effects devices.

Any ideas?

Plug it all together, play.
Then, plug in straight to your amp, no pedals.
If the tone is different, and this difference bothers you, then yes.
Otherwise, no.

Example: My main board is all true bypass, other than a buffer on the end. There is a difference as compared to plugging straight into my amp (moreso when that buffer is replaced with true bypass). This difference does not bother me. Hence, no looper.

+1, wait and see, (hear). My board is 11 pedals long, no bypass looper, and when I compare my tone with or without effects, I like it even better WITH. Of course, I'm also running a few tone shapers, (compressor/eq) in the chain, so they do make a huge difference. But until you hear it all together, you won't know if you have a need to bypass any of your pedals.

Well, even when off, it's volume pot is active and it does effect your sound. Kind of makes it less natural sounding, another layer of stuff to go through. Like a poster above said, A/B it with a direct line and see if it's a liability. (I leave mine at home for writing lines onto so I don't forget. The band is for playing live, not memorex. Years ago we did those things live and stood around looking dumb)
