A good di is a good di. It would be useful there tooQuestion #2: would a REDDI/Noble be of any use recording an electric guitar, rather than a bass?

That's cool. Are the outputs isolated?Keep in mind that the Noble, unlike most other DIs in its class, isn't just a DI - it's also a power supply.

I would say yes. I use two REDDIs on sound gigs as DIs for acoustic guitars, violins, keyboards etc., and it warms up everything that passes through them.Question #2: would a REDDI/Noble be of any use recording an electric guitar, rather than a bass?
It's also a class of bittering hops. It's also a preamp.

Unless it's a very bass-specific preamp with a DI built in, like what many folks on TB simply call a "DI".A good di is a good di. It would be useful there too
But will inevitably DI a quick death...This thread had Noble intentions.
Who cares if it addresses the question? Screw the OP anyway...I've had a Noble, Reddi, Radial jdi, Sushi Finally and a few others. All of them are great, different but great. Really can't go wrong with any if them. (Reddi is great for recording harmonica in a blues band too!)
But... the Noble is the only piece of gear I've tried in 30+ years that literally made me smile the moment I stared using it.
I sold it because I'm a short sighted idiot.
I'm on the waiting list now and scheduled to get my new one in August.
The doesn't really address the question tho
...unless someone launches a preamp-tive strike, this thread will go down the tubes...But will inevitably DI a quick death...
I don't think it's quite REDDI for that yet though....unless someone launches a preamp-tive strike, this thread will go down the tubes...
Shhhhh!!!! The prices on them have fallen and now they're super affordable because nobody's talking about them anymore! So, Shhhhh!!!Remember when everyone thought that the Avalon U5 was the greatest thing in the history of the world, and nobody talks about them at all anymore?
That's a nice looking cat (and a funny tagline).Shhhhh!!!! The prices on them have fallen and now they're super affordable because nobody's talking about them anymore! So, Shhhhh!!!
