Do Noble DIs appreciate in price?

I would say yes. I use two REDDIs on sound gigs as DIs for acoustic guitars, violins, keyboards etc., and it warms up everything that passes through them.

Unless it's a very bass-specific preamp with a DI built in, like what many folks on TB simply call a "DI".

We are all engaged in a very expensive and niche hobby/past time/ profession in bass playing.

Things cost what they cost. Pony up the cash, or don't.

Depends on your time scale. Someday all of our hardware will be obsolete or obliterated. Who cares? It's only money.

I've had a Noble, Reddi, Radial jdi, Sushi Finally and a few others. All of them are great, different but great. Really can't go wrong with any if them. (Reddi is great for recording harmonica in a blues band too!)

But... the Noble is the only piece of gear I've tried in 30+ years that literally made me smile the moment I stared using it.

I sold it because I'm a short sighted idiot.

I'm on the waiting list now and scheduled to get my new one in August.
