Do NOT need a new bass but...

I have a Carvin PB4 that's in immaculate shape...new strings, new set up (to my liking) and I do NOT need a new bass. But, I saw a Squire Contemporary Jazz on Sweetwater website that I can't get out of my mind. Anyone have one? Impressions? At $399 seems to be too good to be true!

I'm (and when I say I'm - keep in mind I am speaking on behalf of my wallet!) extremely grateful that I recently made the incontrovertible decision to only play short-scales from here on. Because it seems every week there is another aesthetically-pleasing new bass guitar coming out, at very reasonable price points... :)

I know your pain. Tried an Ultra Jazz last week that made me want to cry. Money in the bank and not one single reason (that I could persuade my partner with) to buy it. That said if it was only $399 I would be playing it now and not writing this post!!!
